My middle son, Hayden Mac, has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. I am his full time caregiver, and he is the reason why I am so passionate about my work with Libby’s Friends.

Kelsey, a native of Tallahassee, Florida, graduated from Auburn with degrees in Rehabilitation & Disability Studies and Political Science. She now lives in Birmingham with her husband, son, and three dogs.

I am an instructor at Special Equestrians and have also raised puppies for a service dog organization. My older sister has Down syndrom

John Trippe, a native of Homewood, Alabama, currently works at SCA Health as an associate in  mergers & acquisitions. John graduated from the University of Alabama with degrees in Finance and Economics as well as a Masters in Economics. John currently lives in Vestavia Hills, Alabama with his wife, Lauren and their two boys, Thompson and

Lara was born and raised in Hoover, but now resides in Vestavia with her husband and two children.  She attended UAB and has a background in office administration.  She currently spends her time chauffeuring her children, who both have a rare genetic disease,  to different appointments that helps them meet their needs.

DeAnna currently lives in Dora, Alabama and is a busy stay at home mom.  She has three children, one - Rustin - has special needs. She has seen first-hand how challenging life can be while living with special needs and will use her enthusiasm to help others as a benefit for Libby’s Friends this year and in years to come.
