About Our Associate Board Members
Jana Newton - President
Jana, founder of Iron City OT, is from Daphne, Alabama. She currently serves as the President of the Associate Board. She attended college at the University of Alabama where she obtained her B.S. in Health Sciences prior to receiving her Masters of Occupational Therapy from UAB. Jana has traveled to Los Angeles, New York, and Miami this past year for training in DMI Therapy. She is currently a Level C.

Macy Ingram - Vice President and Social Media Director
Macy Ingram serves as the Vice President of the Associate Board and the Social Media Director for Libby's Friends. She graduated from the University of West Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Sociology / Social Work. Macy currently lives in Trussville, Alabama with her husband and three sons.

My middle son, Hayden Mac, has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. I am his full time caregiver, and he is the reason why I am so passionate about my work with Libby’s Friends.
Pritchard Allen
Pritchard Allen, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, serves as a Senior Mortgage Originator with Cardinal Financial. He graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Alabama.

Mandy Bailey
Mandy, owner and founder of Bailey Advisory, lives in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Mandy is originally from Lenexa, KS and obtained her degrees of Finance and International Business from the University of Kansas. She is currently the Senior Practice Manager at Bradley.

Maddie Deagon
Maddie, who grew up in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, has worked for DataPerk, LLC as an account manager since 2021. She Graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in accounting, and a MAcc from UAB.

Bethany Eubanks
Bethany Eubanks, a Nurse Practitioner originally from Durham, NC currently works at UAB Hospital. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Samford University and masters from UAB.

Steven Guy
Steven Guy serves the Junior Board in the role of Event Coordinator. Steven is a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering, then obtained his MBA from UAB.

Chandler Kunka
Chandler Kunka, from Alpharetta, GA, is a physical therapist with United Ability. Chandler obtained her Bachelor's of Biology at Samford University. She then went on to get her Doctor of Physical Therapy from UAB.

Kelsey Seehase
Kelsey, a Development Manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama, also is an instructor at Special Equestrians. Kelsey, originally from Tallahassee, Florida, graduated from Auburn University with degrees in Rehabilitation & Disability Studies as well as Political Science. She now lives in Birmingham with her husband and soon-to-be first child!

John Trippe
John Trippe, a native of Homewood, Alabama, currently works at SCA Health as an associate in mergers & acquisitions. John graduated from the University of Alabama with degrees in Finance and Economics as well as a Masters in Economics. John currently lives in Vestavia Hills, Alabama with his wife, Lauren and their two boys, Thompson and John David.

Mariah Alfano
Mariah lives in Hoover, Alabama with her husband and son. Mariah's passion for education led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a Master's in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. She is currently a Kindergarten teacher in the Hoover City school system.

Emily Capoccia
Emily lives in Trussville with her husband and baby girl. After graduating from The University of South Alabama, Emily became a Special Education Pre-K teacher in the Trussville City School system.

Abby Clark
Abby lives in Birmingham, AL. She is pursuing her passion of helping people by working as a Social Worker at Children‘s of Alabama! She also serves on the junior board for Mitchell’s Place.

Haley Cupp
Haley lives in Vestavia Hills, AL with her husband and three children. She received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. She is currently a homemaker. Haley’s family is also members of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.

Rucker was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He graduated from The University of Alabama and received two bachelor degrees in Marketing and Management. Rucker now owns his own small business as a Pallet Broker - buying and reselling used wooden pallets!

Jennifer Funderburk
Jennifer serves as the Sponsorship Director for Libby’s Friends. She lives in Trussville with her family of five. Jennifer graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a degree in Accounting, and currently works as the Assistant Controller for Ashley Mac’s Kitchen.

Hope Lyle
Hope, living in McCalla, AL, is a full time caregiver to her medically complex daughter. Hope graduated Summa Cum Laude at Birmingham-Southern with an English degree, and worked in Communications/Alumni Affairs at BSC and UAB before deciding to stay home with her adopted daughter.

Madison currently lives in Birmingham, AL. As a University of Alabama Alumni, Madison is now a broker for Carpenter Sales. She also owns her own photography company on the side!

Morgan McGowan
Morgan is from Birmingham, Al, and works as a Speech therapist at Mitchell’s Place. She obtained her Bachelor‘s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Montevallo and a Master‘s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Alabama.

Ella serves as the Event Director for Libby’s Friends. She lives in Birmingham, Alabama, and is the Coordinator of Alumni and Employer Relations at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Ella Graduated from the University of Alabama in 2022 with a degree in Communication Studies. She is currently pursuing an MBA at UAB!

Haley Sager
Haley is originally from Vestavia Hills, but fell in love with the southwest part of the state while spending summers with her family growing up. She attended the University of West Alabama earning a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She now calls Livingston, AL home where her and her husband, Dylan, are raising their daughter, Caroline. She’s a Kindergarten teacher in the Demopolis City Schools System and has a passion for bringing Libby’s Friends to a new portion of Alabama.

Bella Sturdivant
Bella is a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent’s Birmingham. She Attended the University of West Alabama where she studied pre-nursing followed by attending Wesleyan College in Macon, GA where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science of Nursing. She met her husband Alex at UWA and they now live in McCalla, AL with their daughter Rory and maltipoo Asher.

Caitlin Atkins
Caitlin lives in Trussville, AL with her husband, 5 year old son and 1 year old daughter. She attended Auburn University, where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences and a doctorate of pharmacy. She works full time as retail pharmacist.

Kristin Bachmann
Kristin is originally from the Chicago area but has been rooted in Alabama for 20+ years. She attended the University of Alabama majoring in Restaurant and Hotel Hospitality. Kristin lives in Helena with her husband, daughter - Charlie, son - Jacks (who has special needs) and 3 fur babies. She work at APCO Employees Credit Union in the Marketing/Business development department.

Taylor Butler
Taylor Butler, originally from Miami, Florida, serves as a Senior Vice President in Corporate Treasury at Regions Bank. Taylor obtained her undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics as well as her MBA from Samford University. She now lives in Trussville with her family.

I lived in Hong Kong for 5 years growing up.
My husband and I met at Samford. He played baseball and I played volleyball and both of our teams won a championship while we were there which was an incredible experience.
We have 3 dogs and 2 kids (because our pets needed pets!)
Caroline Pennington
Caroline and her husband, Ralls, have a one-year-old daughter named Anne Ralls. She went to Troy (BA in Communication Studies) and Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. She has been practicing as a Special Education attorney for 4 years now.
